International Animation Day: Seven Animation Worlds

Image

One heroine. Seven animation worlds. One black cat with sticky fingers. 🐈‍

The styles keep changing, but this little thief always knows what he wants.

Seven Worlds. One Unfinished Heist.

A blonde heroine and a mischievous black cat chase a piece of gum through seven animation styles, from vintage cartoons to modern 3D CGI and voxel games.
She had one little piece of gum. Now she’s trapped in a video game. Typical Monday. 🎮

From classic hand-drawn cartoons to stop-motion, fantasy, anime, CGI, and blocky game worlds, one thing remains suspiciously consistent: the cat has his eyes on the gum. Some heroes save the day. Others just try to keep their snacks.

Happy International Animation Day! 🎬

So which animation world gets your vote? And would you trust that cat with your chewing gum? 😏

October 28 is International Animation Day, celebrating the art of animation and commemorating Émile Reynaud’s public Théâtre Optique presentation in Paris in 1892.
