Everyone has a picture of the house of their dreams. For some, it’s a tiny place hidden in nature. For others, it’s a modern villa by the sea, a home on wheels, a mountain hideaway or something that looks like it belongs on another planet.
So let’s forget the usual four walls for a moment and explore some very different ideas of home. From tiny and unusual houses to futuristic designs and seriously luxurious properties, there may be something here that makes you rethink your own dream home.
Which one would you choose?
Small, Hidden & Unconventional Homes
Who says a dream home needs four ordinary walls?
From tiny spaces and homes on wheels to caves, crooked houses and even igloos, some of these ideas take “home” to a whole different level.
Homes in Nature: Islands, Mountains & Forests
Would your dream home come with neighbours, or just a great view?
Here we leave the ordinary streets behind and head for islands, forests, mountains, lakes and a few places where nature clearly gets the best seat in the house.
Futuristic & Floating Homes
Why stay on the ground when your dream home could float, fly or look like it came from another planet?
These futuristic ideas blur the line between house, spaceship and floating retreat
Big, Bold & Luxurious Homes
For some people, a dream home means simple and cozy. For others, apparently, the pool just isn’t big enough yet. 😏
Here come the villas, penthouses and seriously luxurious houses where “a little extra space” gets a whole new meaning.
So, what does your dream home actually look like?
Maybe it’s a tiny house hidden in the woods. Maybe it floats on the water, sits on top of a mountain or looks like something designed for another planet. And maybe, after seeing all these options, you’ve decided that your dream home is simply the one with the best view and the fewest neighbours.
Which one would you actually choose?
